Alberto Melagrana and his wife Roberta continue a long tradition of hospitality at the Osteria “Antico Furlo”, an ancient hostelry and staging post dating back to 1825 situated along an old Roman highway nestled into “Gola del Furlo Reserve”, just before the Via Flaminia reaches a tunnel built by the Romans to reach the Adriatic coast.

Afterwards, a seminar and discussion with Chef Melagrana.
Day 2 Preparation of carpaccio with fresh,truffles,passatelli, tagliatelle and parmigianina. LunchAfternoon: Truffle Hunt with a local hunter and his dog. Dinner: a celebration of the truffle with the dishes you helped prepare earlier in the day.
Day 3 Lesson – “Truffles Theory and Practice”Tasting of local typical products – extra virgin olive oil Dop, the wines of Terracruda Winery, local meats and cheeses – plus a visit to the nearby medieval town of Fratte Rosa: clay making, artisan shops, Convent and Museum of Santa Vittoria. Program conclusion and distribution of award certificates.
